- 1 stick butter
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp grated yellow or white onion
- 1 tbsp poppy seed
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 2 pkgs Sister Shubert Frozen dinner rolls
- 1 lb deli shaved honey ham
- 1 lb deli sliced aged Swiss cheese
In a small bowl mix melted butter, sugar, onion, poppy seed, & mustard. Keep rolls frozen & cut in half creating top and bottom portions. Spread butter mixture on top & bottom. (Use half mixture for each package of rolls). Place 1/2 lb. of ham & cheese on each pkg of rolls. Replace tops & put back into metal dish. Cook in oven as per instructions for rolls. Cover if desired. Use a knife to separate each roll as a sandwich. Serve hot.
Notes: Andrew can eat all of these! I always have to watch him when I make them! They are a good appetizer, but Andrew always wants them for dinner!! They are a little pricey to make.Julie H
